  I had cataract surgery years ago. Prior to using laser to remove a cataract, they used to cut your eye and stitch it. Years later, a large scar has developed which in turn, causes an ability to wear a contact lens on that eye. Basically, the eye is only useful for stereo vision, because without correction, it is impossible to visually see out of that eye. The result: Hauser-Ross secretary said that , "You are a new patient (despite going to them for 30 years) and we don't stand behind any work that old. Funny, Lynn Hauser stood behind work from 1982 - 1994. The Hauser-Ross retirement has brought about a new "greed". Instead of an eye facility which actually cares for patients, it has become a quick, "Don't call us back" corporation. They refuse to take responsibility for the painful scar upon my cornea, left by ancient, 1994 surgery and 19 laser treatments following that. I would not recommend using this facility or any other, in which caring for a patient is dependent on insurance and you are reduced to the name of your condition. Perhaps Hauser and Ross should explain the ethics to their current personnel.
